Amazing vegetation and wildlife along the rafting route provides an inspiring accompaniment to this incredible adventure. This tour also explores the highlights of Bhutan’s culturally rich western valleys of Paro, Punakha and Thimphu visiting ancient fortresses, temples, monasteries, farm houses and meeting with the hospitable locals. Highlights include the Ta Dzong Museum, Taktsang Monastery, Punakha Dzong, the National Memorial Chorten, Changangkha Temple and the beautiful Phobjika Valley where you will find beautiful meadows, forests, villages and sacred monasteries.
